Attack of the Podpeople! Using and making podcasts in education. Invited presentation, Physics Department, University of Colorado at Boulder, July 2 2007

I've talked a lot about using podcasts in K-12 education -- in this presentation, I talked about using podcasts in an academic setting. Academics can stay current in science by listening to podcasts, suggest good podcasts to their students, podcast their lectures, or be interviewed as an expert in someone else's podcast. I talked about good communication skills so your science can be understood. You can download PDF of talk, the Head harp activity and Handouts.

Hear Me Out! Communicating nanotechnology through podcasts

Nanotechnology is a challenging subject to communicate. We use audio podcasts to allow the public to hear scientists and policy makers' opinions and research in this area, as well as a nanotechnology news quiz. Download the poster from this conference.
