Circumference related facts for a 100 m radius scaled planet:
When doing an "Earthwalk", a string can be attached to a set point (i.e. goal post, rock etc.). After walking the radius of the Earth, pull the string taunt and move about the circumference of your shrunken earth. Continents and oceans can be traversed in seconds. States can be crossed in a step (or less).
This circumference walk can be used to show the extent of water on our planet as well as showing where the crust is thick and thin.
