Subject: community workshops-science/technology?

At the Inquiry Institute I got a sense that some projects were having
some success with community interactions with science.... I remember New
York doing very regular community workshops.

I'd really appreciate any advice or observations, online connections to
your projects, that might help me "justify" and organize very regular
interactive workshops for parents, students, and community involving
science learning and technology.
