Hi Shannon,
I would love for you to send me some inoformation on your program. I'm
currently the Executive Director of the Edible Schoolyard in Berkeley, A
program started by the famouns chef Alice Waters. It is a program that has
a one acre sustainable agricultuural garden and a kitchen classroom. I am
working withteachers to make this a model for other programs in the
country. Berkeley has now adopted an organic food program so that all only
organic food,no hormone treated or geneticaly altered meats and vegetables
will be used in any of the meals served at the school.
It would be great to have any information you may have on seasonality and
growing. I remember some people say that it is best to plant on the full
lmoon is there any truth to those kinds of statements.
