To ISEN and IFI list-servs,
I'm hoping that someone can help me find a source of information I heard
about several years ago at a museum or science teachers conference.
It was stated that lifelong learning skills were especially critical for
today's students because 80 % (I think, though that might be high) of
today's kindergartners would hold jobs and need skills that we can't even
imagine today. For example, in the early 1980's, PC's, the Internet, and
genetic engineering were in their infancy (as were all the related skills
and professions).
Any articles or information related to this topic would be greatly
appreciated!
Thanks,
Denise LeBlanc
