Description: De Anza College in Cupertino, California is hiring part-time Librarians
beginning Fall Quarter 2007. Hourly shifts will be for weekdays from
Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Fall Quarter begins on September 24, 2007
and ends on December 14, 2007. Positions could continue on an ongoing
basis.

Duties of the position may include general reference assistance,
instruction on the use of print and electronic information resources to
students, collection development which may include weeding, and
technical projects.

Candidates must have a graduate degree from an ALA accredited program;
recent experience with Internet-based technologies; excellent oral
communication skills; and demonstrated ability to work effectively with
a diverse user population.

Date of Appointment: ONGOING, starting September 24, 2007
