Web 2.0, Library 2.0, Learning 2.0
whatever 2.0?
Are you still in the dark about this 2.0 stuff?
Well here's your chance to find out more.
In the last year the 2.0 movement has affected
almost every industry and organization, but the
changes that the "live web" has created are more
than just a bunch of memes. User-generated
content, collaboration, and online social
networks have taken over the internet's highways
and bandwidth that was once only dominated by
searches on Google has turned into much, much
more. So where do libraries fit into this new
user-centric world? Join Helene Blowers, Public
Services Technology Director for the Public
Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County for a
library administrator's overview of web 2.0 tools
and learn about a free ready-to-launch Learning
2.0 program that you can use to encourage your staff to explore.
Speaker: Helene Blowers
