September Dinner Meeting
 
Please join us on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 for SLA Sierra Nevada's first fall dinner meeting and a presentation by Ann Bouchard entitled: 
 
"Marketing Your Library Services: Create More Business Through Outreach And Awareness." 
 
Ann Bouchard, president and CEO of BMCG, Inc., a Roseville-based business  specializing in public affairs, public relations, marketing, advertising  and design, will talk about how librarians can effectively publicize and 
promote our services to our various clienteles. Ann is an expert in strategic marketing planning and research. She has asked careful questions about the variety of library patrons we serve as various kinds of special librarians, and will pitch her talk to be of interest to all of us, emphasizing how librarians can market their skills and information services. 
 
==Dinner Location==
 
We'll meet at California Fat's, 1015 Front Street in Old Sacramento. A no-host bar will begin at 5:30pm; dinner will be served at 6:15pm; and Ann's talk will begin at 7:15pm. 
 
Dinner at California Fat's will be served family style, with the  following choices: Orange Chicken, Korean Tri-Tip, Garlic Green Beans,  Honey Walnut Prawns, Chicken Chow Mein with Steamed White Rice. Three  desserts will be offered: Banana Cream Pie, Kahlua Cake or New York  Cheesecake. PLEASE INDICATE YOUR CHOICE OF DESSERT ON YOUR SIGNUP FORM.
