Sonoma County Wine Library
A special service and collection of the Sonoma County Library, the
collection comprises 5,000+ books on wine and related subjects,
subscriptions and back-files to over 80 wine-related periodicals. The
collection serves as a Business and Technical Library for the Sonoma County
Wine Industry which helps fund it; an archive of wine history worldwide, and
a history of wine in Sonoma County. Located in the: Healdsburg Regional
Library; we will be hosted by Wine Librarian Bo Simons.

Anderson Valley Vineyards
This location was the original homestead of Cyrus Alexander, the namesake of
the prominent Alexander Valley appellation. The Wetzel family purchased the
land from the Alexander's heirs in 1962, planted vineyards, and in 1975
built the winery. Alexander Valley Vineyards is located on Highway 128 in
northern Sonoma County, just 75 miles north of San Francisco, 6 miles from
the sleepy town of Healdsburg and 16 miles from Calistoga in the Napa
Valley.

Napa Valley Wine Library
In 1961 in St. Helena, a small group of dedicated people addressed the need
to preserve priceless documents, books and papers concerning the history of
local winemaking & viticulture. Francis "Paco" Gould (writer and wine
judge), M.F.K. Fisher (wine and food writer) and James Beard (Master
printer), convinced local vintners and other citizens to establish a
collection devoted to wine, to be housed at the St. Helena Public Library.
We will be hosted by Library Director Larry Hlava. For information about
the Wine Library collection click the SNAP button at the top of the
St.Helena Library home page <http://www.shpl.org/> .
