[SLA-SF] SLA Chapters - Bay Area Region - TOUR POLL (July 2006 event)

Greetings All - 

This is an early notification / baseline interest poll.  I'm putting
together a summer tour available to both regional SLA Chapters.  I'd like to
hear from those of you who may be interested.

I have made arrangements for another Wine Tour.   (Is it becoming
annualized?)  This year, on Saturday July 22nd, we will again visit the
Sonoma County Wine Library and visit with my favorite wine librarian, Bo
Simons.  We'll travel from there to the Alexander Valley Vinyards for a
tour, tasting and lunch in their "Hoot Owl" picnic area.

Following lunch we will travel from Sonoma County over the hill to visit the
Napa County Wine Library hosted by Director Larry Hlavsa.  We'll tour that
facility and will have another tasting - yet to be defined.

This will be an all-day event, with a 9 or 9:30 departure from a central Bay
Area location.  We should be returning to the drop-spot between 5 and 6
o'clock.

Please let me know if you are interested.  Commitments not required yet -
but we need to get a feel for the likely headcount.  This will help
determine our transport requirements.  (Group transit intended - be that for
four or forty.)
