I am a sixth grader and I am building an invention to prevent cars from being
stolen by using electromagnets to lock them at parking meters. I tried a 9
volt battery but it wasn't nearly as strong as some other magnets I have. The
problem with the other magnets is I can't separate them easily. How big a
battery can I use to make my electromagnet stronger? Can I use a car battery
of ask my dad to help me use an electrical cord and real electricity?
