I followed the directions precisely. I experimented with a lot of various
objects. The acrylic was the dimension given. I tried charging it on the
rug, on my hair, on my mink blanket and my wool blanket, on the dog, on my
sweater, so on and so forth. I tried the experiment indoors and outside. I
sure did learn it was a big waste of time. Hope you come up with some
better ones in the future.

Were you able to find a good piece of hard, clear plastic? Did you try
charging the plastic with wool as well as your hand? Where did you try
the experiment? When an experiment fails, it's an opportunity to learn.
It's only a waste of time if you don't avail yourself of that
opportunity.
