Once the copper tubing is dry, and your bank account recovers from
the purchase cost :), drop a strong, modern, loose-fitting high-flux
magnet down through the tube. Watch from the top.... Surprise!
Look into Lenz's Law, iirc. Cow magnets down copper pipes are another
specific case of this.
