I just learned about this. It looks like an excellent resource:

PBS Online offers two weekly electronic newsletters designed to keep you
informed. PBS Previews offers the latest information about new PBS Online
Web sites and upcoming primetime public television programs. PBS Teacher
Previews is designed specifically for teachers and educators, and
includes information about PBS programs with extended classroom taping
rights, PBS Online sites with classroom resources and activities, and
more.
