Al,

This topic brings up a question. I purchased some "computer" glasses
yesterday and was told that I needed a UV filter coating because
computer monitors give out UV light.

I've tested this just not with some UV-sensitive beads and they are
remaining white. Are there now, or have there ever been, computer
monitors that give off UV?
