Heidi, it is a wonderful snack and my NY Regents level students say that it really helped them with their understanding of optics. I just wished that I knew more about Jell-o. The warm water trick didn't seem to work for me or my students. I have had some people who do "jiggler eggs" say that spraying PAM on the dishes should help out in removing the jell-o. I will try that next week with my non- Regents students. BTW, I used 2 different reds, strawberry & raspberry, each with slightly diferent results. The raspberry practically glowed with the laser light. I also did pinapple. The students were definitely intrigued!

Thanks for a great snack!
Gene
