This is a wonderful scam. If the process actually did supply oxygen the
way they claim, it would be quite dangerous. Oxygen like that is highly
reactive and is quite good at causing cell death and cancer. Luckily we
have antioxidants to quickly soak that sort of thing up when it occurs
naturally. Oxygen is not very soluble in salt water, that is why we have
hemoglobin, which carries 98% of the oxygen. Furthermore, the lungs are
designed to transport gases into our body, not the gut; given the low
solubility of oxygen in salt water, one would have to eat 50 times the
volume one normally breathes(6 liters per minute) or about 300 liters per
minute. This represents a resonable intake for an aquatic mammal of our
size like a dolphin, but certainly seems pushing the envelope in terms of
human capabilities.
