Subject: Who showed the pendulum project?

A couple of summers ago in a Teacher Institute workshop someone demonstrated a pendulum exercise which seemed well thought out. I believe the students were to test different lengths and masses of the pendulum, ultimately to find the length that has a period of 1 sec.

I suppose I can reinvent the wheel, but I'd prefer to use a good project already developed.

Does anyone remember who demonstrated this exercise? Or does anyone know where I can get a copy?
