Why does lightning turn? (Paul, I know you told me the other day but I have
forgotten averything I learned over the weekend. And is pushing a snowplow a
good metaphor for the "can't go any further in that direction so it's got to
turn" explanation?)
And why does it seek out underground cabels as well as tall things?
And was Benjamin Franklin's kite directly hit by lightning?
And, if so, why wasn't he in major pain?
Or was he?
