Hi all!
The National Institutes of Health has a really useful educational kit about
the human genome project available free to educators. It's anticipated to
become available in early January, and you can sign up to receive it only
online at: www.nhgri.nih.gov/educationkit
The kit includes:
1) A mutimedia interactive CD ROM (I saw it demo's at the NABT convention
and it looks really great)
* 3-D animation of molecules and cells
* Comprehensive interactive timeline of genetics
* Classroom activities on genome sequencing, genetic
variation, and ethical and societal issues
* Infomrational Brochure/poster
2) 15-minute video documentary
It's your tax dollars at work! Gor for it!
