Subject: Physics and art

I've been thinking it would be fun to design an elective class that
combined physics and the fine arts - perhaps a semester of physics and
visual arts, and a semester of the physics of music. Anyone have any
experience they'd like to share on that topic? Good texts? Reference
materials? This is for high school, and I'd like to aim it at kids who
don't necessarily plan to major in science in college.
