Subject: Experiments- School resources in Spanish

Our Costa Rican Foundation - CIENTEC - has expanded its WEB Site with 33 new
simple experiments and models for Spanish speaking primary school teachers, kids
and families.
With this program, CIENTEC hopes to contribute to a more experimental approach
to science and to a better understanding of the world, its processes and transformations.

The experiments are separated into various pages, according to the different
fields of science and include selected links at the end.

o Fisica
o Quimica
o Biologia
o Percepcion
o Optica/Luz y Color
o Modelos
o Cajas

The experiments and models are easy to do.
They require simple ingredients found at home or at the supermarket.

CARDS & TEACHER WORKSHOPS
These experiments are also printed on cards and distributed throughout Costa
Rica and Panama, as an insert in the cereal boxes of a local company, Alimentos
Jack's. This sponsorship also supports workshops for urban public school
teachers in the Central Valley.

We invite you to review this section as a resource for Spanish speaking kids and
their families.
