We do a basic demo with homemade Leyden jars - wrap the outside of a plastic
film canister with foil. Fill the canister with water, and put on the lid.
Poke a nail through the lid. The nail can be charged with fur/rubber rod,
and if they do it about 100 times or so they can get a good shock when they
discharge it by touching foil and nail simultaneously with one hand.
