Save The Bay (www.savesfbay.org) was founded in 1961 to stop uncontrolled
fill of the San Francisco Bay and increase public access to its shoreline.
Our mission today is to preserve, restore, and protect the San Francisco
Bay-Delta Estuary as a healthy and biologically diverse ecosystem. Through
our community-based restoration program, we work with student and community
volunteeers to protect and restore creek and wetland habitat. Projects
include creek and shoreline clean-ups, non-native plant removal, propagating
and planting natives, water quality testing, and monitoring native oyster
populations. Support for this program comes from the National Partnership
between Restore America's Estuaries and NOAA Fisheries' Community-Based
Restoration Program.

Questions? Please contact Marilyn Latta at Save The Bay at 510.452.9261 or

Hope to see you at the Bay!
