Hello Pinhole Friends,
Gene Connection is presenting its 3rd Bioethics Symposium and Workshop on
Saturday, Dec. 8th form 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The topic is "Genetically
Modified Plants...to feed the masses, save the environment, create new
foods, or to endanger people, insects, and our ecosystem? Get the facts!"
Experts discuss bioethical decision making - decision making from a basis
of reliable information, including knowledge of science, cultural values
and risk/benefits.
When: Saturday, Dec. 8 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Menlo City Hall Council chambers, 701 Laurel St., Menlo Park
Cost: $40 which includes lunch and materials
Credit: 1/2 unit college credit available for an additional $6.50
