Subject: The WonderCup Challenge 2002

The WonderCup Challenge is a science competition for age- and
gender-balanced teams of high school students. It is conducted as a
part of Wonderfest, the Bay Area Festival of Science
<http://www.wonderfest.org>.

A unique feature of the WonderCup Challenge is that 4-member teams
register and begin competition *online*. Minimal teacher effort is
required (...yippee!).

Students benefit by (1) getting more excited about science, (2)
learning more biology, chemistry, & physics as they prepare for the
Challenge, and (3) possibly winning day-passes to Wonderfest 2002,
cash scholarships, and laptop computers.

To learn more, please visit the Wonderfest home page or go directly
to <http://www.wonderfest.org/wf2002/html/wondercup2.html>.

You might also spread the news to your colleagues at other schools.
In fact, if you'll just forward this message to two receptive
colleagues (and so on...), we'll multiply the learning and the fun
many fold.

Thanks,

Tucker

P.S. Tuesday, October 1, is the deadline for online registration of
an unlimited number of teams. I encourage you to tell your students
about the competition -- and the prizes -- by just saying: "Visit
wonderfest.org!"
