Here's an experiment to find the terminal velocity of a penny.
Glue a penny to a 30 cm length of string.
Hold the string with the penny hanging from it in an airstream, e.g. out
the window of a car. change speed until the strinng makes a 45 degree angle
with the vertical.
Now the air resistance is equal to the gravity force and you arre driving
at the terminal velocity of thhe penny.
