Try putting the sample inside a glass airtight container such as an inverted
old peanut butter jar. Use a desiccant underneath the oobleck such as silica
gel to remove the moisture as it comes out of the sample. The inside of a
self-defrosting refrigerator is also a very dry place. It works for "freeze
dried" foods! I don't know how the oobleck would take to the freezer but
that is even more dry a zone, dry enough for ice to sublimate!
