I know from my son's strabismus that seeing "is a lot more complicated than that!"
There may be a number of muscle and brain complications going on here....
Try cutting a long thin triangle of black construction paper and placing one end under the mirror. It may help if she is not trying to see in so many dimensions at once.
Great job looking out for all your kids! This might be a hint that there are some learning hurdles she may be facing...or not...
