Hi Ben,
NSTA published a good series of middle school level Earth Science books
called Project Earth Science. The four books in the series are Astronomy,
Physical Oceanography, Geology, and Meteorology. Each book is a collection
of hands-on activities, and includes good background information for the
teacher. When I bought the series, each book cost around $22.00. You can
order them directly from NSTA by calling (800) 722 - NSTA.
Cheers,
Lori
