Hi Eric,
Where did Lord Kelvin get that name? It turns out that Kelvin is the name of
a creek that runs through the University of Glasgow campus. Lord Kelvin was
just plain Mr. Thompson before he was knighted. What if that creek had one of
those unpronounceable Gallic names!
