Subject: Math and Science Resource Fair tomorrow!

Hello Pinhole Friends,
You are all welcome to attend this free event, sponsored by the Council of
Math/Science Educators of San Mateo County.

Council of Math/Science Educators of San Mateo County's (CMSESMC) Second
Fall Resource Fair
We are expecting about 25 different organizations tomorrow. The list
includes The Exploratorium, RAFT, Gene Connection, Chabot Space Center,
Family Math, EQUALS, Sustainable San Mateo County, Marine Science
Institute, Canoes in Sloughs, Activity Resources, JASON Project, CUE,
IISME, Coyote Point Museum, SF Zoo, Peninsula Humane Society, The Tech
Museum, Gulf of the Farallons Marine Sanctuary. We have been publicizing
the event through San Mateo, San Francisco, and Santa Clara counties.
Please feel free to share information about the event with the teachers
with whom you work - especially new teachers!

The event is on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4 - 6 pm at the Hiller Aviation
Museum in San Carlos (directions below). The event is for K-12 math and
science teachers. We have asked the participating organizations to bring
simple hands-on activities to share at the fair. You could leave with 2
dozen new ideas for the classroom!

The event is free, and CMSESMC will be providing snacks and prizes. Some
organizations will also have materials for sale.

I hope we will see you there!
Cheers,
Lori Lambertson
