To celebrate National Chemistry Week, Oct 19-25, The American Chemical
Society has put out a special edition of ChemMatters. The entire issue
is on the chemistry of the earth's atmosphere. This is a quarterly
periodical that costs $12 per year. It covers everyday applications of
chemistry (how
to desent skunk spray) and makes clear to 8-12 grade readers the latest
in chemistry (buckminsterfullerine). Amer. Chem Soc. website is
