Subject: I saw the GREEN FLASH!!

hey everyone

I SAW THE GREEN FLASH!!! last night. i've been
looking for it for a while now and was beginning to
question whether is was real, but in a spectacular
moment, science's beauty came to me.

what's the green flash you say? well, on a crystal
clear evening with the sun setting on a flat horizon,
a green glow of light appears from the top of ths sun
just before the top of the sun dips below the horizon.
 the conditions have to be just right to see it and
last night they were perfect. it was more of a glow
than a flash, lasting about 1 second and culminating
in a beautiful twinkle of bright green.

there are pictures on the web and in books, but
there's nothing like the verification of seeing it
yourself with your own eyes. so keep lookin
pinholers!
