Subject: Aim High Academy-teaching opportunity

Dear Aim High friends and colleagues;
As many of you know, Aim High Academy opened last fall with 90 6th
graders. Our first six months have been daunting, but exciting and
rewarding. Next year, we add a new 6th grade and another group of
dedicated, talented teachers. We are on a fast track to hire the
next cohort of teachers and are looking for educators genuinely
committed to the mission and vision of Aim High. We are specifically
looking for teachers who are currently working within the SFUSD. The
positions available include: Humanities, Math, and Science. Teaches
also serve as advisors and are deeply involved in the development of
the school.

Please forward this to anyone who might be interested.
Thanks for your support and encouragement.

Alec

another comment about Aim High Academy: Aim High Academy is the SFUSD school affiliated with the Aim High Program. This year they started with 6th graders. Next year those 6th graders will become 7th graders and they will have a new group of 6th graders entering the school. As each group graduates to the next year they will continue to bring in a new group of 6th graders each year, eventually serving 6th thru 12th graders.

Aim High has a strong and long-standing relationship with the Exploratorium. If anyone has any questions about the summer program they can check out www.aimhigh.org - there's also some info about the school.
