Subject: RE: pinhole stoichiometry

Hi Geoff.
I started this year with a small unit on dimensional analysis where I used
dominoes as a manipulative. It wasn't till I finished stoic that I realized I could
have applied the same concept there. I'm planning to make some cards for
next year that are like dominoes but are stoic related. For example, stoic
coefficient ratio cards that can be flipped over to invert the ratio. i.e 2/1 on
front, 1/2 on back. And, molar mass cards from some common componds. I
can then assign problems and have the kids play a domino like game to solve
the problem.

What I'm hoping is that they will see that stoic probs are merely a game of
inverting known ratios.
