Subject: Want to put up some foreign teachers for a month this summer?

This summer three teachers are coming from East Timor to participate in the
Exploratorium Teacher Institute. Curt Gabrielson, an adjunct faculty member
at TI, is organizing their visit. Curt lived in East Timor for two years,
and worked with these teachers to develop a new science curriculum for their
nation, the newest in the world. (East Timor, a half-island north of
Australia, got its independence in 2002 after 24 years of brutal Indonesian
occupation.)

The teachers will be in San Francisco from June 26 to July 24. They'll need
only the barest necessities - access to a bathroom and a kitchen - and are
more than willing to sleep on pads on the floor (the norm in East Timor).
Curt will help to arrange everything. Ideally, they would have easy access
to public transport that could take them to the Exploratorium each day.
