For those of you who enjoy illusions and are looking for more for yourself
and/or your students, you might want to consider adding the following
website to your collection:

http://www-bcs.mit.edu/gaz/main-frameset.html

The eleven illusions were created by Meredith Talusan and Janice Chen
based on a chapter by Edward Adelson called "Lightness, Perception, and
Lightness Illusions"

Each illusion is presented in the form of a short movie. Afterwards, the
viewer can maneuver the different elements of the illusion around and, in
the process, gain a better sense of what is going on (in some cases, having
a pencil with which you can cover the boundary between two elements of an
illusion will prove enlightening). An explanation for the illusion is also
available.

You even have an opportunity to read the original paper on which the
illusions are based if you are so inclined.

Akiyoshi Kitaoka's website has been up and running for some time. It's been
very popular. I notice that he has taken to withholding material he once so
generously made available to us due to the way some people were using it.
If you do download/display/distribute any of his delightful illusions take
note of the conditions he brings up on his "Notice Board" at the bottom of
the home page of his website and please remember to make it clear to others
the source of your illusion (they are all copyrighted).

Enjoy!
