I have a student that has chosen whirlpools for her physics project. She
did a fine paper on the phenomenon of large whirlpools in oceans and
rivers (such as the Maelstrom). Now she needs ideas for an actual
model(?) or experiment she could work with for the second half of the
project. Any ideas, from simple to more complex, would be greatly
appreciated!
