Dear Alex and others looking for jobs:

This isn't strictly science, but you might like to know about math openings coming up. While it's too early to tell for sure, my school, Roosevelt Middle School, will probably be hiring math teachers. Rumor has it that half the math department is retiring in June. It's a great school (located in the Richmond District on Arguello at Geary), with a great administration and staff. To apply, you must go through the SFUSD Personnel Department.
