I met Terry at CSTA and was excited about the robotics programs NASA
offers.
He asked me to recommend a few good teachers who might be interested in
this program and I said I knew just the right gang --- TI alumni!
Please email Terry, not me if you are interested.

Deb,
Thank you.  I hope a little wider distribution would help.  The time is
short for applications to this year's Botball competition.  Here is the
notice:
Once again NASA is sponsoring competitions and one that is about to
start this season in Northern California for 7-12th graders is call
Botball 2005.  This program introduces teachers and students to
programming, mechanics and engineering in a fun, hands-on manner which
leaves a positive lasting impression on all who participate.  The
competition will start with a tutorial March 4-5th, and the Tournament
will be held at Santa Clara University on April 23th.  If you think
your students would like to participate check the website
http://www.botball.org where you can register online and apply for a
scholarship.  We can't promise anything, but we still have some local
funding to help  new teams.

If you think you'd like to participate, but need more details, or help
with the forms, please contact us at NASA, Ames.
