My school is looking for a new Algebra teacher. Prospect Sierra is a
wonderful place to teach. The staff, including administration, is
unusually supportive and collaborative. The pay scale is quite
generous and class size maximum is 24. Below is the ad run in local
newspapers.

Teachers

  Prospect Sierra, a K-8 independent school emphasizing academics that
promote thoughtfulness & understanding, seeks skilled, dynamic middle
school teachers with 3 years recent experience.

·       Math specialist to teach algebra foundations.  Prefer
familiarity with both CA and NCTM standards.

·       6th grade homeroom teacher to teach thematic in-depth
humanities units as part of a collaborative team.

·       7th grade (half-time) teacher, also for humanities program. 

  We are a community of 90 professionals offering an integrated,
interdisciplinary curriculum to 480 highly motivated students.
