Pinholers,
A student asked me some questions related to surfing safety during an
electrical storm.
Is a surfer at risk on open water during an electrical storm?
Does lightning often strike open water?
Would a wetsuit offer any protection to the surfer if they were struck
by a lightning bolt? Or if lightning struck near them in the water?
Thanks,
