Subject: Any summer programs still open?

I am looking for a summer opportunity for a sophomore who loves
science and wants to be a science teacher! Sadly, she was not
accepted into the program we were hoping for, and now it seems that
most application periods are over.
 
Does anyone know of programs that might still be available (ideally,
free or with scholarship as she is from a low-income family), or of
internships I could look into?
