Hi Debbie,
If the radar magnets are coated with fiberglass, do not not inhale any dust
you may creat removing it. Also, wear gloves. Fiberglass contains millions of
little glass needles that can penetrate your skin, causing irritation. Also,
they are hard to remove. Paul's suggestion of stabilizing the coating with some
kind of spray paint may be your best bet.
