I just got this notice and thought I'd pass the opportunity along. The food
from La Mediterranee alone is enough to make me want to attend!

Greetings Educators,

I'm writing to you to inform you of another workshop that we will be
holding at the Space Sciences Laboratory in Berkeley on Saturday, July
23rd. We'd like to ask if you could kindly spread the word about the
workshop to your colleagues. All of you are invited to come as well. For
many of you the content will be a repeat, but we'd especially like to
have input from teachers who have used these lessons in their classes.

We'll be holding a free, 1-day teacher workshop at the Space Sciences
Laboratory on the campus of UC Berkeley. The topic of the workshop will
be the Sun-Earth Connection and will be appropriate for teachers of
grades K-9. We will be presenting lesson guides from the Lawrence Hall
of Science GEMS program as well as educational materials from NASA space
science missions. There will be tons of free materials available for you
including the GEMS guides, "Real Reasons for the Seasons" and "Living
With a Star." Lunch from La Mediterranee in Berkeley and parking will
also be free.

The workshop will start promptly at 9:00 am and will end at 4:30 pm. To
