At the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), we have developed an
interactive web site aimed at a high school aged audience called Science
Discovery. It explains the field of computational science, and uses
visualizations produced here at the center, combined with audio speech and
music clips, to introduce teens to computational science in environmental
science, biology, chemistry, and computer science. It also talks about
SDSC and supercomputing. We're working to further develop our education
outreach activities at SDSC...CSA's site provides some great ideas for
making the site even more interactive for our teen users. Science
Discovery is meant to be used by education groups here at SDSC, in the
home, or in the classroom.

Check out Science Discovery at http://www.sdsc.edu/discovery . I would be
interested in hearing others ideas for how to build on this site for
outreach purposes.
