Subject: the secret to exploratorium coffee??

In the new issue of Eating Well (Sept. 97), there is an article about a new
kind of coffee. Magnetic Resonance Diagnostics Corp (MRD) of Thousand Oaks
CA, a manufacturer of medical diagnostic equipment, now produces Resonance
Roast. It is produced in conjunction with Puroast Coffee. It is made
"from beans zapped with low-level magnetic resonance pattern fields during
roasting. According to Ronald Weinstock, CEO of MRD, this modifies the
movement of atomic particles in the coffee beans, resulting in a coffee
that is 'more crystalline in structure and smoother in taste'."

Eating Well tasted their coffee (roasted in a slow, traditional Latin
American method) and said, basically "eh".

Their number is (805) 373-1277, if you want to order the magic beans. Any
comments???
