Subject: more on phase transitions
I ran into a 9th grade physical science teacher today and she wanted to
know, because her kids had asked her, if there was a name for the phase
transition from gas to plasma (like we have names for all the more "common"
transitions, melting, freezing, condensing, etc.). I've never heard of
such a thing! Anyone else?
