Subject: woodrow wilson summer institutes
Hello Pinholers,
The TI office receives information about opportunities for teachers, and I
thought this program sounded like it was worth sharing:
Woodrow Wilson Leadership Program for Teachers
Month-long Residential Core Institutes
June 28- July 24, 1998
$1200 stipend, plus all expenses (travel, meals, lodging)
Deadline for receipt of applications is Jan. 15, 1998.
The two institutes are:
1. Biology Institute, funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute
for 40 high school biology teachers
2. Environmental Science Institute, funded by NSF
for teams of 100 middle and high school teachers.

It's just a guess, but these are probably held in New Jersey, home of this
